We strive to provide the facilities, services, and programs that families need to overcome difficulties and live productive lives in Westchester County. AdvocacyFamily Ties of Westchester advocates for you and with you. We can help you to understand your rights, know your options, and navigate the system. Whether it's school services, social services, mental health services, or the juvenile justice system, we are here to help. Family Ties also advocates on state and national levels. We have parent, youth, and professional representatives involved with many local, state, and national initiatives to build awareness of what families like yours need to be successful. EducationFamily Ties of Westchester offers a variety of learning opportunities for parents, youths, and professionals. We operate Parent Academy that provides workshops, trainings, and conference scholarships to help build knowledge, strengthen support, and encourage exchange of ideas. SupportFamily Ties understands the needs of families who are experiencing emotional distress and feelings of frustration because we've all been there too. 90% of our staff are parents of children with special needs and truly understand. We are a team of human service professionals and accomplished parent advocates in a community-based setting ready to provide cost-free services to families in need.
